Toni Hennings

BSc(Hons), PGCert, Lic Ac, DipTn, MBAcC

Toni Hennings is a highly experienced Acupuncturist and NHS Allied Health Professional.  She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, British Medical Acupuncture Society and Health and Care Professions Council.  Toni has a wealth of experience using acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping and TuiNa in her everyday practice.

Toni has previously worked within NHS hospitals across the South-East and beyond for over twenty years.  Her professional health career began as a Radiotherapy Radiographer, specialising in Oncology and Cancer Care.   For many years Toni worked  closely with patients of all ages and has a deep understanding of the physical and also emotional needs of individuals.  Toni has always had a clear focus on health and well-being.  Especially how different medical practices and teachings can help us understand our mental, physical and emotional health.

Consequently, over eighteen years ago Toni trained as an acupuncturist, after becoming fascinated in the philosophies and teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Recognising the long history of this practise, in the East, and its impact on patients and their illnesses, Toni then trained and graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.  Recognising the need of incorporating complementary treatments into healthcare,  after graduating, Toni established an acupuncture clinic within an NHS Cancer Centre, whilst also running her clinic in Crowthorne.  Toni was able to demonstrate the effects and set a precedent for combining complementary treatments and conventional medicine.  Today Toni continues to offer acupuncture within Oncology centres but also welcomes all clients to her clinic in Crowthorne, where she is passionate about promoting health and well-being. Toni will use acupuncture for many conditions from frozen shoulder to fertility, chronic pain to anxiety.

Professional Practise

Today Toni continues to pursue delivering these traditional and comprehensive acupuncture treatments to the wider population.  She enjoys her Crowthorne Clinic setting and will see clients with a variety of health conditions and complaints. Her primary focus is on restoring balance, health and well-being to all.  By combining Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches with extensive Western Medical knowledge, she provides individually tailored holistic treatments to suit you.

Toni also works as an acupuncturist for Penny Brohn UK at Genesis Care UK Windsor and regularly volunteers at My Cancer My Choices.
